Author Panels & Signings

Over the course of the two-day Big Ohio Book Con, you'll have an opportunity to meet 100+ authors, attend panels, purchase books, and get signed copies to take home! Meet your favorite authors and take home treasured editions. What could be better?!

Build-A-Book-Box Station

A gift to yourself after the Con ends! You get a menu of questions so we can feel out your reading vibes. Then, after the Con we'll send a book box curated specifically FOR YOU, shipped right to your door. Participation in this activity comes with FREE exclusive merch only available at this station. Merch prize depends on level of box you choose.

VIP Cocktail Party

Enjoy a themed cocktail and refreshment hour. Shop the exclusive VIP Book Fair, including signed books from your favorite authors who weren't able to attend this year's Con. (These books may not be available to General Admission-only badge holders.) Attend two exclusive panels with featured headlining authors. Then, join authors for a meet & greet, book sale, and book signing.

Add-on Ticket required to attend for $75 (includes both panels, VIP Book Fair, a cocktail, and Hors d'oeuvres).

Book Launch Central

Meet indie authors who will be debuting new books! This is your chance to meet the author, hear about the book, and maybe get some free goodies along the way. Check out the Book Launch Central schedule for each day. (Included with General Admission Badge)

Get a Tattoo

Want a bookish tattoo in a flash? Head on over and meet the crew from Eclipse Tattoo Studio! Artists are available to give you tattoos on-site Saturday & Sunday!

Crow Party

Looking for new bookish friends? Have some trinkets to trade? This is the place you need to be! Bring your trading trinkets and your passion for books to make new friends or reconnect with old ones!

Saturday, June 6, 2-3 p.m. in the Breakout Building (Included with General Admission Badge)

Book Swap

The Book Swap runs all weekend! Bring books you want to swap with other attendees. Leave one on the table, take one! Leftover books will be donated!

Please no textbooks or other books that can't be donated to nonprofit used bookstores.

Bookish Bingo

Want to win some books and other cool prizes? Then try your hand at Bookish Bingo! Who will win big?!

Bookish Trivia

Think you know books? Prove it! And get rewarded. Join us to partake in Bookish Trivia for a chance to win big prizes!

Bookish Speed Dating

Speed dating, but make it books. Join us as we guide you through a session of rapid "dates" with other book fiends. You'll each have 1 minute to convince the other to add your favorite books to their TBR lists.

Saturday, June 6, 4-5 p.m. in the Breakout Building (Included with General Admission Badge)

Scavenger Hunt

There's a Bookish Scavenger Hunt afoot! Participate in the hunt during your time at the Con for a chance to win big prizes! Remember to keep those eyes open wide during the two days. Need not be present to collect prizes. (Included with General Admission Badge)

Shipping Center

Not from around here but want to SHOP for more than you can reasonably get home? No worries! Head over to the Black Cat tables. We'll have an area for you to pack up your goodies. We'll weigh your box and get a shipping label printed. You only pay for what it costs to ship it to you!

Bag Check

Want a reprieve from your rolly bags? Don't want to take your bags on the shuttle when going to your next destination? Stop by the Bag Check area to check your goodies for a small donation to the nonprofit running the check!
