Over the course of the two-day Big Ohio Book Con, you'll have an opportunity to meet 100+ authors, attend panels, purchase books, and get signed copies to take home! Meet your favorite authors and take home treasured editions. What could be better?!

Book Bar

Experience Black Cat's Book Bar, where you can put together your own Blind Date with a Book based on moods and scents.

Bookish Bingo

Join us for Breakfast and Bookish Bingo on Sunday, June 29 from 8:30-9:45 a.m. for a chance to win big! Breakfast is provided with donations accepted. Donations go to nonprofit Feeding Medina County. Drinks available for purchase from Happy Camper Bar Car.

Book Club Discussion

Before The Big Ohio Book Con, make sure you read the book The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan. Then, join us on Sunday, June 29 from 5:15-6:15 p.m. at the OBD Stage to participate in the Big Ohio Book Con Club Discussion. Prizes awarded during participation!

Scavenger Hunt

There's a Bookish Scavenger Hunt afoot! Participate in the hunt during your time at the Con for a chance to win big prizes! Remember to keep those eyes open wide during the two days. Need not be present to collect prizes.

Book Swap

The Book Swap runs all weekend! Bring books you want to swap with other attendees. Leave one on the table, take one! And be sure to join Breakfast & Book Swap on Saturday, June 28 from 9-10 a.m. to swap in person! Breakfast is provided with donations accepted. Donations go to nonprofit Project LEARN. Drinks available for purchase from Happy Camper Bar Car.

Launch Party

Join Sarah Forester Davis and Black Cat Books & Oddities as we celebrate the launch of the fourth and final book in Sarah's Confession series! The first 30 guests receive a FREE swag bag! Register for priority seating to guarantee your swag and seat.

Bookish Trivia

Join us from 11-11:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 29 at the OBD Stage to partake in Bookish Trivia for a chance to win big prizes!

Costume Contest

Come to the Con dressed in your best Bookish Cosplay! Take pictures at the Photo Booth! Enter the Costume Contest to win! Enter the contest here.

Write a Book

Stop by the Black Cat booth and add your sentence to the first-ever Big Ohio Book Con Book! Read the sentence directly above and add your own to progress the story. Be sure to add your name to the author page. We'll publish the book after the Con so everyone can see how their masterpiece took shape!
